Developmental and Perinatal Biology Exchange Program 2026 – Deadline Extended and Details

We are delighted to announce Developmental and Perinatal Biology Exchange Program 2026. This exciting program between the University of Toronto and the Karolinska-Institutet will take place in Toronto from 24-28th August 2026

Program Details: 

  • Open to ALL trainees at the University of Toronto, including senior Undergraduate Students, Graduate Students, PDFs, Medical Residents and Fellows conducting research under Developmental and Perinatal Biology
  • Combines lectures, seminars, poster presentations, and interactive research workshops, offering a valuable opportunity to broaden your scientific perspective, build international collaborations, and connect with peers who share an interest in developmental and perinatal biology!
  • Beyond the science, the workshop includes fun social activities in the evenings designed to help participants connect, exchange ideas, and build friendships with fellow trainees from Karolinska Institutet and UofT

Program costs are covered through the generous support of our sponsors. Spaces are limited. Final selection is made by the Program Organizing Committee. Applications must be submitted by July 24th, 2026 to  be considered for an oral presentation!

Late-breaking abstracts for a poster presentation can be submitted by August 1, 2026.

Of note:Participation in the Toronto exchange course does not preclude participants from applying to future editions of the program hosted in Sweden.
