SUMMARY:Research Round: Extending the Utility of a Digital Microfluidic Based Omics (DISCO) Platform for Single Cell Proteomics
DESCRIPTION:Savina Cammalleri is a Ph.D. student at the U of T’s Institute of Biomedical Engineering and is currently conducting her research at the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences within the Molecular Neurobiology Group. \nHer work explores the extension of a digital microfluidic-based single cell omics (DISCO) platform for single-cell proteomics. By leveraging digital microfluidics to manipulate individual cells and samples\, the platform aims to enable more efficient and scalable analysis of proteins at the single-cell level. \nThis research has the potential to expand the capabilities of single-cell proteomics by providing a flexible approach for studying cellular heterogeneity and molecular processes. By further developing the DISCO platform\, Savina’s work aims to contribute new tools for high-resolution biological analysis and ultimately advance our understanding of complex cellular systems. \nRegister Here
