2025 OGS Winners

24 BME graduate students receive Ontario Graduate Scholarships

The OGS is a merit-based scholarship that supports graduate students pursuing excellence in academic research across disciplines at publicly funded universities in Ontario. The scholarship is valued at $5,000 per academic session, with recipients receiving either $10,000 for two sessions or $15,000 for three.

The scholarship program has supported outstanding graduate students in Ontario since 1975. At U of T, awards are allocated annually to each faculty by the School of Graduate Studies. Selection is based on academic excellence, research potential, and communication skills as demonstrated in the application materials.
