Graduate Mentorship Program (GMP)
Graduate Mentorship Program (BME GMP) is a student‑led initiative within the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto that fosters meaningful connections among graduate students. The program pairs junior Master’s and PhD students with senior graduate students and postdoctoral mentors to provide academic guidance, career insight, and peer support. Through one‑on‑one mentorship, community‑building events, and skills‑focused workshops, BME GMP enhances the graduate experience and helps students navigate the academic, professional, and personal aspects of graduate school while strengthening the overall BME community.
