Research Interests

His research focuses on improving mobility for people with neurological impairments. He studies human movement from a neuromechanical perspective, combining principles of neurophysiology and physics. Using this approach, Dr. Masani develops precise assessment methods and therapeutic tools that use functional electrical stimulation to support standing, walking, and adapted exercise.
