We are excited to announce that Science Rendezvous at the University of Toronto has begun recruiting Executives for the 2026-2027 academic year in preparation for our 2027 festival, taking place on Saturday, May 8, 2027!
Science Rendezvous at the University of Toronto is a non-profit, student-run organization focused on making science accessible, engaging and exciting for the general public, particularly youth and their families. Each year, our festival brings science out of the lab and onto the streets of the St. George campus, connecting thousands of visitors with researchers, students and organizations from across the University of Toronto and beyond.
Through interactive demonstrations, hands-on activities and opportunities to engage directly with researchers, Science Rendezvous gives visitors the chance to explore science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) in an exciting and approachable way.
We are now recruiting members of our 2026-2027 Executive Committee who will help plan and deliver Science Rendezvous 2027. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about science outreach and who have, or would like to develop, experience in areas such as event planning, leadership, communications, logistics, budgeting, volunteer coordination and working with community and university partners.

The average time commitment is approximately 1-3 hours per week, depending on the position and the time of year.
