Biography

Allison is a PhD candidate in biomedical engineering specializing in orthopaedic biomechanics with a focus on quantifying metastatic vertebral bone quality and the development of generative deep learning models for fracture location prediction. Her research aims to inform treatment planning for patients with spine metastatic disease to reduce fracture risk and improve quality of life. Through her multi-disciplinary work, Allison has developed a deep appreciation for collaboration and its necessity in biomedical research.
