Biography

Azin is a PhD candidate in biomedical engineering specializing in preclinical cancer research, focusing on the use of experimental models and image-based methods to assess the impact of local and systemic cancer treatments on metastatic bone quality. Her work includes establishing a novel treatment approach combining nanoparticles and radiation therapy in a preclinical model of mixed metastases derived from prostate cancer cells. Through her multidisciplinary research, Azin has developed an appreciation for innovative techniques and their potential to advance cancer treatment strategies.
